Most times I stop in, they have a good selection, so it’s kind of my default when I don’t want to overthink where to shop. I just wish a few of the items I buy regularly stayed in stock more consistently...

"Checkout was fine, just a little annoying"
Checkout on samsclub.com went through, but it wasn’t super smooth. My cart was slow to update and I had to put my card info in again. Not a huge deal, just annoying when you’re trying to get it done

I ordered a few things from Sam’s Club and the delivery wasn’t a total disaster, but of course it ended up being slower than I expected. The tracking didn’t update for about two days, so I was just sitting there wondering what was going on, then suddenly everything showed up at once. The box looked a little beat up too, which made me worry, but thankfully the items inside were fine. It wasn’t the worst experience, but I feel like the shipping process could’ve been handled better.

I ordered through the app and checked in as soon as I got there. I swear, they had everything out to my car in like 5 minutes, and not a single thing was missing. With kids in the car, this is 100% easier than going inside. No question, I’m doing it this way every time.

"My online order never showed up"
I placed an order online and it just never arrived. When I reached out to customer service, they didnt really help and kept acting like it was somehow my fault. Really frustrating experience.

"Quality just wasn’t that great"
I ordered a few items and the quality just felt cheap this time. One of the packages showed up dented, and the product inside looked kind of old. It just wasn’t what I expected from Sam’s Club.

"Return was easy enough, but the refund dragged"
I had to return an online order to Sam’s Club and I was kind of in a hurry that day, so I was hoping it would be a quick thing. The return itself went through fine, but the refund took longer than I expected. Customer service was okay, not rude or anything, just didn’t really make me feel like they were speeding things along. It all worked out eventually, but I definitely wish the whole process had been faster

"Long lines, empty shelves... how is this okay?"
I stopped in hoping to grab a few things quickly, but the store was packed and the checkout line barely moved. A bunch of the items I needed were out of stock, and the shelves were messy too. I asked for help, but the staff didn’t really seem interested. how is this okay for a regular shopping trip?

"Pretty decent help with my mixed-up order"
I had a pickup order from Sam’s Club that wasn’t totally right. A few things were missing, and of course I didn’t realize it until I was already back home.
I called customer service, the woman I spoke with was nice about it. She looked into it fairly quickly and got the refund going without making the whole thing feel like a hassle.
I’m giving 4 stars because I did have to sit on hold for a little while, but once I got through, it was handled about as well as I’d expect

I order from samsclub.com regularly and the prices are usually better than what I find around me. Buying in bulk helps a lot, especially for snacks, paper towels, cleaning stuff, all that everyday stuff that adds up fast. I always try to check the instant savings too becuase some of those deals actually knock a decent amount off. Shipping has been totally fine for me so far. Overall, I feel like the membership pays for itself quick

I paid for the membership thinking I’d save more. That was kind of the whole point. But after a few trips… I don’t know. The prices just don’t seem that different from regular stores. Some stuff is the same, and a few things are even higher, which surprised me. I kept telling myself maybe I’d notice the savings over time, but I’m not really seeing it. At this point, it just doesn’t feel worth keeping.

"Beware of Sam’s Club Scan&Go."
I’ve had Sam’s Club Card for Decades, I get frustrated when they change Scan&go every 6 months. Now to use Scan&Go you’re required to use store Wi-Fi, can't use my more secure cell data. I called Sam’s Club Corp to ask why. First I got call center in El Salvador, I asked for Corporate, then transferred to Philippines. Finally got a US call center (never got Corp). They could not explain why they forced us to use store Wi-Fi. I don't know what Sam’s Club is up to, but they obviously put their own wants above the security of their customers. Very sad - Sam must be spinning in his grave.
